IN'STITUTOR, noun [Latin] The person who establishes; one who enacts laws, rites and ceremonies, and enjoins the observance of them.

1. The person who founds an order, sect, society or scheme for the promotion of a public or social object.

2. An instructor; one who educates; as an institutor of youth.
