MAN'HOOD, noun [man and hood.] The state of one who is a man, of an adult male, or one who is advanced beyond puberty, boyhood or childhood; virility.

1. Virility; as opposed to womanhood.

2. Human nature; as the manhood of Christ.

3. The qualities of a man; courage; bravery; resolution. [Little Used.]
